Jen will be fifteen years old this year. Since the disappearance of her father, she lives alone with her young mother Sarah, little away from Covina, small city of North America. One day Ian, the stepbrother of his father, becomes established in their barn to lend strong hand. Jen is fascinated by this man who seems to belong to nothing and to anybody. This unexpected presence is going to move away the mother and the daughter. Jen escapes with Ian the time of a violent and wild night which forces him to run away alone in the hostile forests of the North. A pitiless manhunt begins then. For Jen, nothing will ever be more as before.
